New Umpire Training
Spring Clinic
The ABUA provides training for umpires who are new to the organization. There is NO FEE charged for attending the clinic.
The Spring Clinic is a shortened version of our Winter Clinic and is for umpires who are joining the organization for our summer season.
NOTE: Members who attend the Spring Clinic are required to attend the Winter Clinic unless excused by the Training Coordinator.
This training is suitable for any umpire whether or not they have any prior experience. This training does not "make" you an umpire. It is designed to provide a basis upon which you can begin to develop the skills required to be an umpire. The spring clinic is a shortened version of our winter clinic.
